Decatur cruise on May 7th
This was an announcement I saw on CF that I thought some us "south of I-80" guys might be interested in. I'm thinking about making that run - maybe meet up with a couple of our ZR-1 brothers; one lives in Decatur and another nearby.
[QUOTE=Midnight 85;1577303636]We are planning a trip to Decatur to tour the Chevrolet Hall of Fame on May 7th, (rain date May 14th) We are converging there from different points in Illinois. If anyone would like to join us please feel free. My group is leaving Streator @ 8:00 so we should be in Decatur by 11:00. You could join our group somewhere along the way or just meet at the museum. We will be going down Rt.39 to Rt.51 then 51 on into Decatur. There is a diner right at the museum and I'm sure a whole assortment of other places to grab a bite. Hope to meet some of you there. I don't see how they could have a run to a Chevrolet Hall of Fame without representation from the KOTH, right?...RIGHT??? What do Uz think about meeting in Streator for an 8AM departure??? P.

As a fomer Decaturite I have to question how good this is and if its worth your trip...Decatur is not the nicest town, and what is the connection to Chevy?

Re: Decatur cruise on May 7th
It appears this trip is gathering a lot of interest. From what I gather, there may be 2-3 ZR-1s in the heard as well. Here is a link with more info on the museum.
Again: May 7th with cruise kicking off at Streator IL at 8AM. This will be an opportunity for some of the down State BOBs to meet! P.

TTT
This is shaping up to be a big deal cruise! It appears it is going to be a mulit-state event and especially well attended for some of the down state IL clubs. FYI! P.
