Are there new sets out there and what does a set go for and is the offset dead on for a ZR-1?

To my knowledge these wheels are long out of production but some folks are likely sitting on sets that have never been used. Basically you have to watch ebay and various forum "for sale" sections.
The offsets are close but not dead on. If you mount them as is they will stick out past the fenders a little bit. The other option is too reverse the centers and mount them with 1/4in spacers for a more tucked in look as in the photo below - note: doing so will require longer wheel studs. ![]()

Are the centers cast and if so is there enough material to machine of a touch? There alot of wheel on the market just are just too busy, got too much crap goin on but I like these.Kickin myself for no buying a set when they were dirt cheap. These wheels look just as good as some of the $5000 wheels some companies have on the market today.

It was something I'd read about the Series 1. But it could have been some preliminary specs or something, or just a good ol' lie from Carroll...

Not sure if there is enough but I guess it depends how much you want to shave off
Here is what I had saved from a post somewhere on the Net, I think it was CF, but could have been here Quote:

I bought and sold 40 sets when the Series II people went out of business. The offset works well as is and you can pick up a set for around $800 if and when someone is willing to sell them...
I think most of the ZR1 guys that have them bought them from me. It was a great deal and I wish I would have bought the other 40 sets. Someone out of CA bought them and I've not seen any for sale. Cheers, RH
