Stoner product....
So I was at the Wazoo engine tear down some time back and had a great discussion with someone about how he got the engine compartment so clean and he showed me this Stoner product he uses under the hood....sorry I can't remember your name, I suffer from C.R.S., but if you recall our conversation or if anyone knows what the heck I'm talking about (cause Lord knows I don't) let me know. I believe the guy I was talking to had a blue car...a ZR-1 more than likely...

Re: Stoner product....
I use Stoner products... might have been me since I was at the WAZOO LT5 tear down...but I was driving a Lemans Blue C6...
After cleaning the engine (I only use very non aggressive products such as Windex and select application of water...then blow dry with electric blower. Then apply Stoners Trim Shine on black parts and hoses and close hood start engine bring up to running temp and let the Stoners 'cure'. Also Stoners Xenit is good for removing grease/oil, tar and cosmoline without being too aggressive and will not damage paint.

Re: Stoner product....
A blue ZR-1, would have probably been David, or of course Jim.
FYI, you can find a list of their products here: http://www.moreshine.com/ Like Michael mentioned, Xenit and Trim Shine are probably the only ones that have much business underhood. Or Invisible Glass to clean up the engine itself (though cheaper glass cleaners like Sprayway would work as well)
