Re: 1990 Turquoise/Black on the bay
I notice that in the excel data sheet, this car, #1902 is listed as being Bright Red/Black (the compnine.com website vin checker says this car was 81U, bright red). Is the sheet/website in error or maybe the car was repainted at some point (though a repaint to that color is doubtful)?

Re: 1990 Turquoise/Black on the bay
I doubt someone painted it this color but I would say the list and that website are incorrect.

no, it was a red car, spoke to the owner, he should have stated this in the ebay auction. don't think he will get $18k for a repainted car.

I know on NCRS points the original color counts but why on a 47000 mile driver car a repaint drop the value even if you changed the color. I not a fan of changing colors but 20 years on cars that have been drove adds up, that is why I repainted mine but did not change the color. I agree ad is misleading "Rare and original ?Turquoise Metallic? exterior finish ? never hit"

oh I just rechecked the pics it was a half *** paint job God I hate it when someone half asses a paint job.
Look inside the door jamb at the black piece for the wires that run into the doors. click on the pic

I asked to see the paint code but never heard anything. Thats kinda funny that they painted it, I wonder how good of a job it was I don't worry about a repaint I worry about the quality of it.
