What are the date codes of manufacture? And are the fronts really 265's not 275's?

Bought the fronts last year from Tire Rack $700. Bought the rears separate from 2 forum members. Paid $350 for one and $475 for the other. Last set around unless someone has some stored.

Tires are 265-40-17 on the front. I am a little surprised that a 1/3 of an inch in width is that big a deal to save $600 + !! Diameter is a wash. No effect to speedometer. A 265 GY is still wider than a 275 Nitto, Sumitomo, Vredestein, etc. The designation "275" is relative.
