$50 is pretty cheap for something that you can't get at the dealer anymore.

That is 150% over cost.

Also LH gasket is worthless without the RH.

The RH gasket can be used for left side but not the other way.

Don't you have this back to front, the 10106177 can be used on the RH side?

When Goetze made the head gaskets, i am 100% certain they made only one gasket & not a LH & RH. It appears to me that they made the gasket as part # 1010617 and then stamped the last 6-7 suffix at the end. In order for the gasket to fit both sides, they then went ahead and water jet cut or by some other means removed the oil passage ring hole.

They also changed the coating at some point, as some of the gaskets i stock, all stamped 10106177 and still sealed in the GM bags have a very shiny coating, where as all the gaksets later sold by GM have no coating at all, the one with the coating is at the bottom image and GM cut off the oil passage that sits inside the cylinder head where the timing chain is located.

Just a bit more useless info.
