Default NCRS FILTER FOR 90

Ok so the correct filter is black 970 with the big label on it minus the duruaguard name on it. Thre is a picture on here somewhere.

It's filter # 25011441

Anyway this looks like the same filter but its blue. Same filter number, only difference is its blue and it has big ac logo on it.

So I guess its not officially correct unless of course you painted it black?

Right shape, wrong color and label. You may sneak it by a chapter judge but this picture is in the TIM&JG:

Agree, the main problem being the label is silver in the background and the big AC logo.

Other then that, it is the same exact part number and filter.

That filter on ebay would be a 40% point deduction in my book as a "service replacement". The Filter is the wrong color an the label is NTP. The oil filter is judged in Chassis, Section 9 B. and is scored along with the Oil Pan and Oil Cooler. there are 26 total points, 15 for originality and 11 on condition. I would judge the filter assuming a perfect black filter would be worth 5 originality points and 4 condition points. For this filter I would take 2 points off "originality" and 0 points off for condition, assuming the filter was perfect as it appears to be in the ebay picture. That would hold true for any AC service replacemenet filter. So before you pull the trigger on a perfect filter realize any old blue AC filter or black Duragaurd filter would only cost you 2 out of the 4500 total points. Plus you can get 10 bonus raw points for the Fire Ext, NCRS Decal, and battery switch. The problem with the LT5 filter is it is easily seen so anything but perfect is a sure giveaway. What you can do is buy a black filter peel the label off and print the above photo on thin Vinyl bumper sticker ink jet "paper". Screw the filter on. Find a spot on the filter that is somewhat obscured. Then mark it with a sharpie. Unscrew the filter and carefully apply your "manufactured" label. Screw it back on and hope the judge needs to clean his glasses. If it appeared correct but the label was a noticeable reprint I would only take 1 point. Wooo hooo a point earned and it only cost you 30 bucks and an hour or two of your time. Be very careful about your ops check. That is low hanging fruit. One burned out $.97 bulb is a huge hit

Does anybody have a good digital scan of it?

I mean the filter is nowhere to be found.
