Default Intake runner optimization calculator

For those not gluttons for punishment, but still wanna get feeling for runner size vs. performance, here is a "down and dirty" calculator that provides at least some sort of a "dipstick" when considering the optimum runner size. Some may have already seen this, but I thought it would be worth while to at least clear some of the fog with regard to optimizing runner dimensions for the application.

Ya gotta understand, this calculator is only a "ballpark" tool as certain constants and general assumptions are "built in" that may not exactly apply in all cases. But, I was please to see some pretty fair correlation between the predictions made and actual dyno sheets. See whatcha think, and let's have some fun with it!

Below are some numbers you can use to play "what if" with. The area column on the right is 2x because we've got two runners in the LT5.

Brilliant my dear Workman! Your seach for the port flow G spot has inspired all of the little Mark haibaks in all of us. "Real men of genius" Today we celebratein you mr port flow G spot finder. hahaha. That would make a great commercial on speed channel. But I did save that site to my favorits. Good research Paul.
