I've been using Mobile 1 EP since I've gad the car. Was thinking of switching to Amsoil, but the availability isn't great around home. I have been putting GM's oil additive in every oil change and have no rattle so I'm staying with what works. I have my truck on Mobile 1 as well.

I use to use Redline because of a TT GN that I use to own. Everything I have read about Amsoil has gotten me to switch. Plus I love the My Amsoil garage application. I can keep track of everything done to all 5 of my current vehicles.

For everyone that want to use AMSOIL but dont have it locally. Here is a contact where you can get a wholesale account for free. The 10W40 that Mark Haibeck reccomends is reasonable priced. For everyone that is in Canada they have two warehouses (Alberta, Quebec) so you dont have to pay international shipping.

I looked everywhere and could not find the technical specifications for any Royal Purple product. I'm sticking with Amsoil all the Data that you need is a finger click away.

I have used M-1 for years and it is a great oil..Last week I got the Amsoil Zrod 10-30..But I have thought about using RP, They're all good..

mobil 1 with two quarts of lucas synthetic never had a problem knock on wood.
