Default Oil Cooler Adapters and SS Braided Oil Cooler Lines

Once you get the block in hand....it is a LOT easier to make up the SS Braided Hoses to proper length by installing one made up end (with the 45 degree fittings) first onto the Oil Filter Adapter (finger tight). Then Cut (where shown in photo by red lines A and B) and Assemble (with fittings) the other end.

Once the hose sets are made up, attach hoses to Oil Cooler Adapter in hand (in vice). Tighten hose fittings at the approximate angles shown. Then after the Oil Cooler Adapter fittings are tight, attach the SS Braided Hose Assemblies to the Oil Filter Adapter. Lastly......insert the Oil Cooler Adapter with fittings attached and tight onto the Oil Cooler and insert/tighten the SS Allen Head 6 mm x35 mm bolt. Do NOT forget the two "O" rings on the Oil Cooler Adapter between the Adapter and Oil Cooler.

No modifications of the Fiberglass Radiator Housing is required.
I know I am overdoing this but it really is slick and easy and sooooo much fun. NO MORE LEAKS of any kind associated with the Oil Cooler Hoses. Less expensive Reusable fittings are available rather than the more expensive Aeroquip Fittings. The Aeroquip Fittings are Swivel so self aligning when installing.

Now....once you get these SS Braided Oil Cooler Hoses made up with Aeroquip Reusable Swivel Nickel Plated fittings.......Install that Oil Catch Can also using SS Braided Aeroquip Reusable Swivel Fittings

SS Braided Oil Cooler Hoses and Fittings

To remove existing 12AN x 3/4 NPT fittings from the Oil Filter Housing use a 1 inch box wrench (combination box/open end) with the box end on the fitting interlocked with a 3/4 inch box wrench on the other end. This will provide the leverage/torque without excessive horizontal pressure to remove the fittings. I use permatex when installing the New 10AN x 3/4 inch NPT fittings into the Oil Filter Adapter (lower fitting first).
Let the ZR-1 sit over night before removing the existing Oil Cooler Hoses to minimize oil spilling.

One stop shopping for the whole kit, includes everything you need, no fabrication required. Made from the very best materials available, Edelbrock/Russell hose, & AN fittings, Aircraft grade 6061T6 Aluminum billet adapter, black anodized for protection & toughness, o-ring seals, new bolt & plated 1"x 10AN adapters @ oil filter housing.

Every hose is pressurizing to 120psig & submerged in hot water for bubble test.

One of our best selling parts. Black braided outsells stainless 5:3.

I seen those images earlier also
Jerry's Oil Cooler Lines and Adapter are considerably different than the Oil Cooler Lines and Adapters discussed in this thread or in this link using reusable swivel fittings SS Braided Oil Cooler Hoses and Fittings

I got all my questions regarding Oil Cooler Adapters answered in a PM to Robert
I received a Message from one of our guys in Poland regarding Oil Cooler Adapters.
