I can’t tell exactly... is the factory ICM connected to anything?

Very nice work Jeff.
Really like the way you made the coils fit in the valley area. Great job. Pete

Hopefully not. I do however have a second unit. (Before anyone asks, I am not looking to sell it at the moment)
I have been in contact with the designer/developer and it sounds like there could be potential that he makes more, I had bought his last two, knowing they might not work. Thanks Pete, however, unless you remove the tray, it is tough to swap plug wires. The picture I posted shows straight boots, the new set of wires are 90deg boots.

Jeff,
Do u have pics of the trigger harness for the coils? And did u use the existing power circuit to energize the coils? When I did this conversion, but using the stock ICM, I needed to use a separate circuit to energize the coils given that our stock circuit is only 10A IIRC. |

So I used a relay to power the coils with a 15 or 20A fuse.. yeah the wires run to the front of the car, but the circuit was already there and no longer used since I removed the A.I.R. pump.

Jeff,
Is dwell configurable? LSx coils throw a hotter spark and part of that is w 8 coils they can dwell longer. I’m assuming u re-gapped plugs. |
