But I believe that ain't correct for the external thread of the fuel pressure Schrader. I looked further and I do think it's very likely 4AN - if I were looking to fabricate a 90° adapter I'd take the cap and check the cap against a 4AN first. That thread would make it 7/16-20 and an OTC 7430 adapter matches that for thread dimensions. -32 TPI is considered I guess "small Schrader" in fuel pressure language.

A straight fitting is all I use too, FWIW. I hadn't thought of running the hose under the alternator bracket tho.

I looked for an extension hose I could plug n play but couldn't find any so I made one up for my Actron CP7838 tester. https://www.amazon.com/Actron-CP7838...=Actron+CP7838
I unscrewed the hose fitting from the gauge (hose has a male 1/8NPT) and bought a 5' length of 1/4" ID fuel line to fit in between using 2 of these 1/4" barbed 1/8NPT male fittings and a 1/8NPT female to female coupling you can buy at Autozone. Gage -> barb fitting -> ext. hose -> barb fitting -> coupling -> original hose. I also used a hose clamp on the barbed fittings for safety and made sure nothing leaked before I took it out on the road.
