If there is a failure at those temps then I would lower the temps to 300 degrees max and re-test. Shouldn't need more than a "cushion" of 50 degrees. I shot my temp gun last weekend of 90 degree weather and the covers were 205 degrees.

I would not expect these emblems to see more than 225º F even in the higher temp climates.

I would suspect that you are correct - however, there should be some "fudge" factor built in to the max temp range.

Not a lot of air movement under the hood of these things...I could realisticlly see more than 225ºF quite easily, under the right or more correctly 'Wrong' conditions.

6 test versions are coming to me, they offered to make the cirlce thinner....I will see how the current version works....also we will get stared on 91-95 version.
