If my '90 had the original body, instead of the later body, I'd have integrated scoops like the Active Suspension car. Maybe off of an old F/B Formula.
Then an A/O intake could be routed through there...

Someone ought to make a 90 degree rotating plate housing, it could work like the muffler butterfly assemblies on the Z06 and rotate the plate sideways when in performance mode.
