More Whoa Power
Must have been a good boy last year.
Santa dropped off a set of Baer 14" 6 piston disc brakes. Parking brake is incorporated in the rear disc center hats. Same hardware as used on C5 & C6 Vettes. Kit included longer parking brake cables, braided SS flex lines and fittings. Can't wait for the snow to go away so I can try them out. Re: More Whoa Power
Looks great! What rims are you finishing it off with? I recently installed C6 zo6 brakes and am still on jack stands waiting on the fiskes to arrive....

Re: More Whoa Power
So you got them for Christmas and already both
front and rears are installed, wheels/tires back on, up and running? I'M IMPRESSED! Look FANTASTIC! Congratulations! PS: More info about the rears, especially the parking brake setup. Did you have to change the knuckles?

Re: More Whoa Power
Awesome Phil.
I have the same rotors with 4 piston bears on the front and 12.8 4 piston wilwoods on the rear. I used a wilwood proportioning valve to balance it. really nice upgrade, will pull your eyes out. The limiting factor became the tires.... need more tire now. you will love them John |

Re: More Whoa Power
The original caliper mounting plate
is replaced by a Baer provided bearing retainer/parking brake assembly that fits between the suspension knuckle and wheel bearing hub. This assembly is also the mounting point for the brackets which the calipers mount to. The parking brake is a one piece circular shoe expanded by a single mechanical actuator when the parking brake is pulled. The brake drum is incorporated in the disc rotor hat.
