Okay, thanks Steve! I know Marc backs up his findings as a trusted and valued source.

15W-50 is exempt from the regulations that cover lesser weight oils and can contain higher zddp. (40 and above is technically exempt)

We had a good discussion on it over here.

Thanks! I remember seeing that while having some popcorn....LOL. I have been using and loving Liqui Moly 2043 MoS2 Anti-Friction 10W-40 since last year. No more chain rattle at startup and the motor runs very smooth. I’m also using Liqui Moly oil in the Mercedes, Audi, and soon the Harley. I chose it after the recommendation from their Application Engineer that knew all about our LT5. I love their products so far and it ships free to me from Amazon.

Ahhh, Spring!

Flowers blooming.

Baseball. (maybe not)

Love.

And of course, the perennial oil decision.

Mobil 1 Last year.

Brad Penn 10W 40 Racing Green Oil again this year.
Still 1400 phosphorous and 1500 Zinc.

Now Mobil one black filter, or an original no barcode Delco......................
Hmmm......................

Happy Spring!

Marty

I'm also using that LM oil. Strange color, but great oil. The LT-5 runs great with it (just bought it particularly for that car) and will use it in my 95 Audi S6 V8 as well!

Nice to see someone else that knows about LM. Yes Sir, I use their products in my Mercedes and Audi too! I have driven on the Autobahn and German engineering is no joke; their oil is good enough for me. 🤙🏼
