Default ZF Rebuild kits

If you have ever priced out a rebuild on a zf s6-40, You'll know just how damn expensive the parts are from ZF or RSG. They have had the market share on these for wayyyy toooo long, so with that in mind, we set out on manufacturing these, i sent samples to our manufacturing co in April.

I just got in our 1st set of the gasket & seal kit for the 89-96 ZFS6-40, this includes all the seals - gaskets - caps - counter shaft nut & plugs.

Priced from ZF or RSG these will run you over $200.00 a set, our price $49.99

We're also having the synchro rings re-made, these are only available as a full set and sell @ ZF or RSG for over $600.00 per set. Our price is $199.99 per set, or $49.99 for any one gear.

Although we have received the samples and have approved manufacture, these are not available for 5-6 weeks. I doubt very few people on here will have the interest in rebuilding there own ZF's, but at least with these prices it now makes it a bit more doable.

Sure is, they make gears as well, only down side though is supply and demand. I have no problem in selling a seal and gasket kit, or synchro rings, but not too many calls for a different ratio.

I shall at least make the call, what are you looking for?

Competition among suppliers of quality parts is a good thing. (Oh, damn! There I go thinking like a capitalist again! Sorry...)

But, dittos to Jeffvette's ratio changes for 5th and 6th (especially).

Jeff,

I sent off the gears yesterday to have a set evaluated & determine if indeed they can make different ratios. bear in mind though, unless i can justify somewhat of the cost to do this, it will not happen. Making gears is by no means low cost, but we'll at least give it a try.

As you requested:

5th - .80 or .82
6th - .60
