I was under my 94 and noticed there's a healthy amount of gunk under the power steering pump area. Before I go investigating further, is there anything unique/special to the ZR-1 for the power steering system I should be cautious with? I'll likely clean the area first to see where the leak is actually coming from. Thank you.

I had what I thought was a power steering fluid leak due to all the gunk under the ps pump but it ended up being oil. It?s not enough to change the level of oil and I can?t really tell where it?s coming from.

The parts for the entire system should be readily available. If you ever get to a point in which you need to R&R the pump due to potential leak, I would recommend Turn One for a rebuild. There may a dye that is PS fluid or system safe to better find that leak.
