Which brake systems with 6 or 4 piston calipers will fit the saw blade wheels of a 90-92 ZR-1 ? Seems like most all need a modification or aftermarket wheel to clear the new parts. I would rather not have to buy new wheels or do modifications. If anyone has saw blade wheels and a 4 or 6 piston system, I would like to hear your comments. Thanks for the help.

Most will require A-molds. Or if you want to keep the sawblades, you will have to run spacers which will push the wheels out.

Thanks, Jeff. Mike Norris has a special on the Wilwood 6 piston caliper system. He seems to think a 17 inch saw blade will clear without a problem. That is totally inconsistent with what I hear. The a-molds work but I think you are correct about stock 90-92 saw blade wheels needing spacers and thus pushing the wheel out. Are you aware of a 4 piston caliper that would fit without modification or are all needing spacers ?

Problem is you adding width to the caliper on the outboard side with a multi piston set up. There is no way to get around it unless you drastically move evrything inboard.

Thanks, Jeff. Makes sense; can't put a quart in a pint container.
