Can't remember if this article has already been posted. Another ZR-1 owner sent this to me.....I don't think he is a member here.....an interesting read!!!

I read the article and it claims for a regular c4, the 85-89 models are the ones to get. I owned some of these cars, and then owned 2-3 1990 regular c4 cars, and must say I found the 1990 cars vastly improved over the 84-89 cars.
