Made up a balancer installation tool this evening out of 7/8" threaded rod.
Essential LT5 special tool that's getting hard to find these days. ![]() A little stouter construction than the 3/4" Kent-Moore issued piece. ![]()

Would you produce one on request, Phil?
I might need one if I suddenly one day felt like replacing the balancer. Are they prone to wear? By the way, a google picture search on Prone to wear gives a lot more interesting result than one might imagine.

If there is sufficient demand I can do a batch of these.
Please post up if you are interested so I can figure out how much material will be needed and a unit price.

Phil,
I'm in if you go forward. Have an extra crank locator/pin tool? Ted |

I'm in for one. I see Jerry has some harmonic balancers in store, so I'd might as well ad it to my to-do list.

Ted,
IMO the Kent-Moore crank locator tool has too much slop in it for achieving accurate cam timing using the pinning method. So I made this tool which locates the crank more precisely and is just as easy to work with: ![]()
