Guys,
Currently installing new radiator, hoses and thermostat. However, I cannot remember where this plastic cover goes. I took photos of the plenum in order to replace injectors ands actuators but, figured I did not need photos for a simple radiator install. 😊 Thanks again for looking. |

fills the gap between the radiator and front of frame; many people remove it to let in fresh air, supposed to keep high water away from air filter

from the solutions section:
4. Water Deflector The Water Deflector which sits under the end of the OEM Air Box (or SS Air Box) to prevent water from being sucked into the Air Intake from the front grille. What it also does is prevent cooler air from entering the Air Intake from the grille. I deleted the Water Deflector from both the L98 and LT5 SS Air Box installations.

It goes right in the trash. My air box is open on the bottom, when I get caught in the rain my pistons get real clean.
