Original Exhaust Heat Shields - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Does anyone know if the original Heat shields were painted or plated? Also, what prevents the Shields from rattling as they don't directly fasten to the manifolds?

Plated. I would have to look to be certain, but I think some of the screws do fasten to the manifolds
