Some of you may have already seen this, but I figured it was worth posting to share in the sadness of losing such a nice build. I hope those responsible never fully recover for taking someone else's pride and joy (that they worked so hard for) and destroying it.
How the story goes... Here’s a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere with a Street Wedge platform using a 440 block that had very few miles on her since her restoration. A young man while high on methamphetamine stole this Black Beauty and crashed it into a tree at a reported 150 mph. Below are some photos of the car before the gruesome collision. It’s a miracle the car thief survived and his injuries are taking a long time to heal sufficiently for him to be able to reasonably communicate with the Arcadia, California Police Department’s investigation. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Alberta_ZR1; 09-16-2012 at 11:10 PM. A few other pictures...
I had questions when I first saw the different air cleaner, but everything else is the exact same. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
