Not sure what I did but when I did the DNS fix the Z runs and cranks flawlessly now but the “Security” light stays on. What did I goof? I’m hoping to fix this all this coming weekend I’ll be under the hood anyhow since the secondaries quit working and I got my azz handed to me by a new 5.0, and a SS Camaro, and a Mazda FREAKING 6… so embarrassing!!!
Daniel Link to me getting SCHOOLED by a 218K mile LS1 SS that is STOCK.... |

You bypassed VATS? Did the secondary issue coincide w your DNS fix?

Yes, the VATS has been bypassed without the light coming on. I had noticed the power was down before the DNS fix but cannot be for certain. I haven't driven the car much since BG in May and at that time it was fine... Any thoughts? You have me wondering now if the DNS has caused the secondary issue.

Assuming that everything is OK in Denmark and the DNS mod is installed correctly, then the DNS won't affect the VATs system.
All bets are off if there's monkey business going on elsewhere in the wiring. Wish I could be of more help, but ![]() 'Crabs |
