Power Corrupts...
Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely
Boy have I been excited. I picked up a car to enjoy at HPDEs. It has coilovers, serious brakes, a ported 350, and some cool extras for the track. I haven't really gotten to enjoy it too much. It handles really well and has some pretty good power with stock gears. It has Hoosier tires right now (Nittos on the garage floor but haven't had time to put them on) and spins them through first and start of second. The stock gears hook up mid-second and the car pulls strongly through 7,000 rpms. I was impressed and fairly smitten with the car. All-in-all, an impressive car.    Well, until I got the 415 out today. The BFG KDs only have ~300 miles and ~3yrs. The car spun the tires at 75 mph. That will get your attention.  I will be joining Shrek and his better half plus Callaway at a few HPDEs at VIR. We need some WAZOO folks down. Ted |
