Thumbs up Back on Track

Two plus months of blood, sweat, and tears, plus many mods and our first weekend back at the track in years went off without a hitch! Well, almost without a hitch. Mother nature shortened the fun to just one day of fun. With the cold rain and snow moving in for Sunday, we loaded up the car, my sun/wind burn, and my wife's great big grin then headed home Saturday evening. Wife says her Z is a whole new beast that handled and performed way beyond her expectations.

Here's a few of track shots from Saturday!

Overall how do you rate the car on the track?

i think thats awsome that you set up a car for your wife . too often we guys get our toys and our wives are thought of last . i know the happiest day of my life was when i had the callaway car on the lawn with a big red ribbon on it .the look on my late wifes face will last a lifetime . it was almost as much fun when she won a summit race beating all the boys in the 12.0 class at sacramento . that day i loved the look the guys gave her when they saw this 5ft.1 cute red head take her helmet off and get out of the car . she loved drag racing more than i do . thanx for the post it sure brought back memories

I'm assuming you've been following my mod threads!

I know it's been 4 plus years since my wife has been on the rack, but she says this is the best balanced combo she's ever driven on track. She has many many laps at various tracks in 5 different C4's, from a bone stock Z to a 500 HP highly modded 96. Although she spent her first day back on track coming up to speed, she can't wait to back out next month and lean on it even harder!
