The car runs much better now, but is much slower to start. It takes like 1-3 seconds more of the starter turning that it did before. I've always heard ZR-1's were like that, but this is a new change my car didn't do before.
If I had a leaky injector would that cause it to fire sooner? Now it has 16 brand new injectors and it runs fine, but the start time increased? Seems weird to me. |

My ZR (has new injectors) takes couple seconds to start... my C6 tends to start much quicker..like a second. I just think it is the nature of the beast to start a bit slower

I will have to check and see exactly how long it takes. It seems to take about 3-4 seconds if I remember correct.

The start time is dependent upon getting the signal from crank and the camshaft sensor. Sometimes it is quick, other times it will take a couple of rotations.
