Hi guys, my clutch pedal is about two inches below brake pedal and engage almost on the floor and feels like not fully engage. Unable to pull it higher.
I had my backup switch replaced by a mechanic and most likely he removed slave cylinder. Is that possible he put it back not correctly? He also made a clutch safety switch bypass because car stopped cranking, maybe he bent the pedal somehow? Maybe clutch safety switch and clutch master cylinder malfunctions during backup switch replacement are just coincidance. What is the length of a fully extended clutch master cylinder rod? My is about 60mm. IMG_20230520_164620.jpg IMG_20230520_184103.jpg |

Ok, I found out what is the problem. There is worn spot on a clutch master cylinder rod that shows what range the rod used to work. It's clearly not reaching its normal down position even with pedal on the floor. Pedal is bent.
