Removing the exhaust later tonight. Never been under the car before. Any documents/threads out there that show you where all of the attachment points are to save some time?

I removed mine this past winter. It's pretty straight forward with the hangers and muffler mount points. I removed all the hardware starting at the headers and worked back towards the mufflers. Once it was all removed, I had a small weld to break and was able to slide it off/back using a floor jack. Good luck on your project!
I have a few pics in a post I put up afterwards here:http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=33708 You should be able to see the mounting points in the pictures to give you an idea of where things are located. Last edited by Figure8it; 09-21-2022 at 09:30 AM. |

If you place a floor jack in the right place, the whole catback will balance nicely. The center of gravity is near the rear spring loaded mounts on a Corsa.

Yep, that's the way I used to take mine off and reinstall them. I positioned the floor jack after I had removed most of the attachments, removed the last ones, lowered the exhaust on the jack and rolled it out the back. Really pretty easy to do. --Bob
