What are the current options? Are Jeal's still available? I'm looking for full length/elimination of the cats and connectability to my Flowmaster cat-back system. Also, where to buy?
Thanks in advance |

Are these full length and will they easily connect to my Flowmaster cat-back?
Also, has there been any kind of dyno test comparing the gains from these headers to the Watson's or Jeal's? Thanks Guys! |

Also Aaron Scott at South Georgia Corvettes sells the SW headers. Whoever you get them from I think it is worth it to get them ceramic coated. IMO

my "near stock" 95 had watsons, random SS cats, and a flowmaster and it was one of the best sounding ZR-1s I have heard.
the flowmaster isn't the best for performance and isn't stainless, but it really was a nice sounding combo. the flowmaster will mate up with the headers, but some simple fabrication is needed to get all the flanges/pipes to align. the random cats don't really hurt HP much either. as to comparison between headers, I don't think any results are available but my bet is that differences would be very small. watson had a "big tube" and small tube header, but I would think that the jeal and stainless works headers would provide very similar gains. in any event, headers really help the lt5 above 6k rpms where they strut their stuff. the sound is just incredible too. the stroker lt5 with headers and b&B is pretty agressive, but belts out the big power. |

well I have a set of SSW on my daily driver very nice set of headers.
I also have a set of watsons and to compare them I believe the watsons are much smaller tube and wouldnt flow the same.. But im not expert but If someone would bank roll it I could dyno with one and then change them out and dyno again... mine are bolted to flowmasters and I love the sound. it wasnt a straight bolt in I needed to have the RH side extension for the exhaust bent to make it mate up to the headers its not going to be a quick job. took me about 12 hours to swap mine out but easy enough you wont be disapointed in the SSW for the $1000 the SSW cost and the price ive seen Jeals at $1500 I think its easy to pick which set to get
