The attached photo shows the location of what sounds like a vacuum leak.
The metal tubing is inserted into a rubber hose. Is this a problem ? Vince 90 red/red #1966 |

The rubber piece fits 2 hoses. I replaced mine with 2 separate hoses and haven't had a problem since.

Not knowing exactly which one is leaking (there are two) and how severe the leak is, it's tough to assess it's effect on performance. One thing I do know is that LT5 is very sensitive to vacuum loss especially for 2ndary actuation. If it was mine I would pull the plenum and replace the piece and check all vacuum lines, check 2ndary actuation, tighten up bolts around breather box (?) and button back up.
