Say you have a Zr-1 and you want to keep the tranverse leafs as opposed to coils, for the track, but you want to ditch the fx3 w/fe1 springs/bars, and bump up to the actual fe7 springs/bars/shocks of the non-fx3 89-91 Z51/Z07 cars. possible some dual adjustable socks to add/subtract damping.
has anyone here done this and how does the car handle on track? this is a factory car with haibec secondary delete prom that i have wired open. It is slowly being shifted to a more dedicated track car. i really really, dont want to get to complicated and expensive with coilovers blah blah. on the racecar im building, yes, i do have a set of drm coils. I have an fe7 suspension package i can try on the Zr1...street legal dedicated track car 👍 im slowly improving on track! https://youtu.be/Y4uqeSEJB3I |

It's entirely possible and should show an improvement but in today's world I can't say I would swap leaf springs for another set.

is this because of coilovers? i want to avoid the complexity and the weight gain.
