A true and real HERO!
I recall a story 10 years ago or so that I read. An elderly gent was seated in first class on a long delayed flight. He sees an enlisted man, very tired headed to a middle seat WAY in the back. The elderly gent stands up and gives his first class seat to the soldier and walks to the back of the plane taking the soldiers middle seat. At the end of the flight, the attendant tells the soldier the elderly man's name from the passenger manifest. Chuck Yeager. HERO. May God Bless and Favor him. ![]() Marty |
