Gent is selling his car. Has posted a lot on CF about purchase of this vehicle. And this forum was recommended to him. Saw a post of mine on CF and offered to me for sale. Not trying to help him sell, just wanting thoughts on validity of car considering purchase. Thanks.

There are a few ZR-1s nearby I know of: one in Colorado Springs area and one near Royal Gorge too that might be willing to do an evaluation too; check out the mechanical stuff pretty well. Perhaps they will see this post and chime in to offer further on-site evaluation. We'd welcome you into the "Brotherhood of the Beast" too, should you strike a deal. The ZR-1 Net Registry club is international and has many specialists and even some outfits dedicated solely to these cars. (I made my decision to buy mine in '07 because of the existence of the Registry & the support this very tight knit club offers!) Good luck! ![]() |

Thank you, Paul. I am searching and trying to do my due diligence. The ZR-1 is an awesome car. I appreciate your thoughts. This is a great forum and I really like the support. Dale

The last 3 months I researched prices pretty hard before I got mine in the 30k range ... I will tell you now that is the cheapest one I've seen in the last 3 months at 17k. I was expecting the miles to be at 100,000+ ... Surprised, I would jump on it if you are serious about getting one.
Usually I see 90-93 ZR-1's in 20k range around same miles. Last edited by aj94zr1; 08-17-2020 at 12:40 PM. |

Looks like a solid car being offered at a good price. It needs a good detail and has a couple small items to be addressed (none that affect drivability and seller is upfront about them). If I were in the market to buy right now, I'd definitely consider this one - especially if I were local and could look at the car in person.

Go for it now. New tires and brakes clinch the deal. The speaker fix is no biggie. Paint can be touched up and buffed for a few hundred. If you can handle a few minor imperfections buy it now and quick.

Thanks for all the good advice, guys. Was initially turned off because of some things in the ad based on comments on CF but now reconsidering. Even had an offer from a kind Registry member to go look at it with me. Will decide in a few days.

Looks like the car is still on CL. But the seller keeps bumping the price around. Has been at 23K, then 18.6 on Ebay, then 21K and now 20K?
