Default Vacuum Pump Hose Routing/Troubleshooting

I recently found what I think to be an amazing deal on a 1992 ZR-1 that seems to have been sitting for quite some time. I’ve been able to figure out and fix most of the issues I’ve come across so far, but one thing that is stumping me at the moment is the vacuum pump underneath the passenger headlight.

It appears to be missing at least one hose and has a golf tee shoved into another, which could possibly be correct, but I don’t think it should run continuously. The pump continues to run even when I disconnect and cover the main vacuum line that runs under the plenum. I do not have a high idle.

Could anyone give a picture or diagram of their pump with the proper hose routing? If that doesn’t help, am I correct in assuming the next step would be to go towards the secondary check valve or is there another possibility? I had to pull the plenum already to replace injectors and I did my best to make sure I didn’t have any vacuum leaks underneath.

Thanks for the help, Everett

The pump itself and it’s hoses look like this. Hook up the hoses properly including the one that runs under the plenum. If there is no leak in the secondary system and the check valve is sound the pump should stop periodically.

Thanks Ccmano. I had added the line that loops around from the white nipple at the bottom, but ultimately my problem was that someone had hooked up the main vacuum line that runs under the plenum to that white nipple and not the black one next to it. After swapping over everything works as it should.
