A few of us have a dyno day set up at Performance Specialties (www.performancespecialties.com) in Pottstown, PA (north of Philly) on Friday, 2 Dec., starting at 9 a.m. They have a DynoJet and will provide AFR sniffing as needed. Cost is $150/hr. plus $45 set up. I can provide tuning services for '90, '91, and '93 thru '95(no charge) if you've got an EPROM chip (I'm not set up to handle the OEM memcal's).
Let me know if anybody's interested. Dennis

Had a great day at the dyno. Amazing what some tuning can accomplish! Picked up significant mid-range torque. 460 peak RWHP, ~540 at the crank. Not bad for a 350 and stock flywheel! Gotta love these motors!

What was the torque and is there a dyno sheet? Great numbers BTW. |

I had the dyno sheet attached to the post. I guess the cyberspace gods stripped it off. I'll repost as soon as I get some time back at my computer.

And it's such a streetable 500+ hp motor. It just keeps pulling all the way to redline.

Thanks! I left some mid range torque on the table, though. Will be back at it in a week or two two to squeeze out the rest.

Dennis,
Went back to my runs with both I/E cams. I used the same correction factors as those in your dyno. This could give a good benchmark for the torque you are going back for. Of course there will be differences in the dyno themselves. This is from the one Marc uses. It was done back in 2013 when cams were originally installed by Pete and tuned by me. Done additional part throttle tuning since then but no further dyno tuning for WOT. Last edited by XfireZ51; 03-08-2024 at 02:10 PM. |
