The 8th annual CPCC Corvette Shootout is scheduled for -
OCTOBER 17 @ the US 41 Motor-PLEX 8th Annual Crown Point Corvette Club All Corvette Shootout: Saturday, October 17th, 2015 U.S. 41 MOTOR-PLEX Morocco, IN Participants (Corvettes Only): $55.00 which includes the $40.00 Tech Card PLUS $15.00 Corvette Shootout Fee paid at the registration table (covers prizes, etc) There is a $12 spectator fee Handicap Bracket Elimination Format Time Trials 10am–1pm| Eliminations 1:30pm–3:00pm | Awards 3:30pm Special Awards for: Lowest E.T. Top Speed Lowest Reaction Time (Please note: You MUST participate in the Corvette Shootout Bracket Elimination in order to be eligible for any Special Awards.) NO FOUL START TICKETS WILL BE ALLOWED 8TH Annual Club Championship Three racers from each club will submit their lowest E.T. runs from the morning which will be combined for a cumulative total. NO FOUL START TICKETS WILL BE ALLOWED. The club with the lowest cumulative total wins the Club Championship. The award will be given to the President (or representative) of the winning club to hold for one year until next year’s event when it will be up for grabs once again! 2014 Club Champions: ZR-1 Net Registry They're comin' for us, you can bet. Several of the BIG GUNS are down with issues: Kevin, Al, are hard down, and likely Pete won't be running in time either!
So, it really looks like the weight is on the shoulders of Bob G's 427 BEAST and Marc's C6 ZR1 (if he chooses to bring it) and then if Pete in fact doesn't get it together in time, then it's up to one of the rest of us to get into the mid, low 12s to have a chance. This is going to be a nail biter!!! Time to "GURD YOUR LOINS" (whatever the hell that means!!) ![]() |
