Selective Ride Code 23
Playing around w car the last few days re: another issue that I'lll post about.
So finally got it to run and move it out of garage. Selective Ride light is on, so no big but it never went out once I got rolling. Did the ALDL and got a 12 and 23. It should have gone out I think but. I may pull BATT and clear it, then see if it comes back. |

Mike you are right on, that is code 23
23 = If you start the car more than 3 times and do not move the car this code will set. Drive 3-6 feet and the light will go out.

Looking at the FSM it indicates code 23 as a Manifold Air Temp sensor. Low temperature indicated. Correct?

Turned the ignition ON and OFF probably 20-25 times, and started the motor another 10-15. Maybe after a while it sets a hard code in history. I disconnected the BATT today and took it out for a run. No light. Issue solved.
