There is a hole in the air dam/intake for the radiator.....sensor fits well in that location

Approximately where is the hole? is it in the lower air dam that runs across the front? (if so mine is not stock)

or is it on the side of the air box?

Unless you modify the cal to reflect using an IAT rather than an MAT, not sure what the point of the relo is. With no change the ECM will use the values it has for cooler MAT, essentially what happens during warmup. Once you do that, you'll want to check the VE tables.

No I didn't say that. But I think it was one of those things, like the TPS switch, people did because they didn't have access to the cal for richening things up.
Having said that, you need to change the cal so that it works with an IAT not an MAT just like other mods. The table needs to reflect that. My sense is that the advantage is for a more consistent fueling based on Intake Air rather than using a sensor which could get heat soaked and so introduces a false reading. Just playing around it seemed to me that I was getting a more consistent AFR w less variation. BUT, the cal needs to be modded to accommodate that.
