I just received my updated calibration from Marc. I used tunerpro to load it to the ostrich. I installed it and the car starts up but the ses light stays on. I tried this a couple of times and I keep getting the same result. Has anyone else run into this?
TIA, Mike |

I'm using the Moates G1 memory Adapter http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adapter-tpi-etc.html - Of course you still need to have your original (or custom) memcal installed. In my case - I have a DRM memcal that has has some custom settings in the G1 adapter. Have had no problems with this setup.

1990,
I am assuming Marc sent you the cal via email? Is this the first time you've used the Ostrich? Few things to look at: 1. Is Ostrich installed correctly? Red stripe of cable should face outer edge of ECM. 2. R U using the correct Mask ID for the bin file? 3. If you made any changes, did you make sure the checksum is updated? 4. What is the MALF code? When you first power up, turn ignition to ON, does SES light flash once, then stay on. That indicates prom and cal are OK. |
