A relative of mine has an '86 GN he is considering selling, and wants my help with it. I think it has under 30k miles, definitely over 20k. He is the original owner. It has T-tops and the digital dash. I don't know what else was an option then, but I could find out if it has or doesn't have anything else.
The paint is pretty good, but not perfect. As it is single stage, it seemed to be pretty prone to water marks and such. The car is pretty original, certainly not any performance mods, no accidents, etc. I figure some of you guys have GN's, or at least have an interest, so ideas on value? Here's pictures from the last time I've seen it: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have no idea what the market is on those, but it is clean. Looks to be in similar condition as my high 20k mile 91 ZR-1. Are the values on those holding up better than C4 ZR-1's?

I sold a 87 GN last year for 22,500.00 It was in mint "Ricky" cond. and had 34k miles on it. I paid 16,500.00 several months earlier. I did some bolt on mods and detailed every inch of her. I still have brand new 18" wheels & BFG tires in the attic from her. I would say 15k-17,500 todays market. GLWTS

thanks Ricky!
To Mike, sounds like they hold up better, because a GN was less than 1/2 of what a ZR-1 sold for new. |

I still have mine. Original owner '87. No idea what they are selling for--mine's priceless.
Guessing would say high teens. Right buyer, right time maybe low 20s. Ted |

![]() car should fetch 18-20k but it's a tough market. I have mine for sale for 12.5k and no takers. it's a 10.8 second car that will walk everything in the "herd" with the exception of the TT Z06 which runs 9's and the corvette drag car which runs low 9s it's still my daily driver. 520 hp at the tire at 24 psi I run 18 psi on pump gas with zero detonation. the GNs are pretty nice. mine is lightened up extensively with all FG bumpers, alum supports, alum heads and NO power goodies. my daughter cracks up all the time when she see's the "crank up windows" not too many cars now have "non electric" windows except trucks very nice car |
