I suppose it depends on what the flow rate is of the pump you choose is. The stock pumps if only one is used, is not sufficient to keep the pressure up at sustained WOT.

a real hefty single pump might be hard on the fuel pressure regulator.

Great info there. I think the walpro might fit without adding wire, relays, fuses or resistors. First step I suppose would be to determine the goal. I have read/heard that unless you're pushing >500hp the stock pumps are fine. If the goal then is to go higher then a new pump design and injectors would seem prudent.

If anything, with a S/C you would need 2 pumps.
