Happy New ZR-1 Owner Joining the "Club"
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
I joined the the forum about 5 days ago when I started eying up a local ZR-1 that was forsale. Needless to say, your guys information and postings were a huge factor in my purchase decision... Anyways onto the car.... Its a 1993 ZR-1, Polo Green, 41,000 kilometers (25,000 miles), all original, and everything works. The exterior has a few flaws here and there but nothing too major and the interior is immaculate. The gentleman that I purchased the car off of had two ZR-1's (A 1990 black on black, and the 1993), as luck would have it, he was a retired GM engineer from way back in the day so I got the full meal deal on everything. As for myself, I live in Alberta Canada and this will be my first Corvette. I was actually looking for an all original 1993 SVT Cobra (first year of SVT) but then I came across this ZR-1 and just couldn't turn it down given the history behind this vehicle. Anyways, here are some pictures and I look forward to learning as much as I can about this piece of history.

Welcome. We can always use more Alberta participation on the boards here
 . You've got a great car (93). 405 HP engine, last year of the 'Good' seats, one year only specific wheels (finish). You've got some great roads around you to stretch it's leg's as well (between Strathmore & Brooks  ) LOL.
