For those of you that atteneded the proto seminar, you heard me ramble about not being able to confirm the VIN of the record car... Well I have the answer:
As I originally though it is vin #45.. I had the archives search the build sheets for EX5669. They found it written on a copy of #45. The problem is I bought a copy of that sheet at the Gathering and my copy did not have EX5669 on it. Aparently there are sometimes several different copies of the same build sheets with different things written on them. So mystery solved. Do you have the vin for the "record" press car? If not, it is 1989 #13.

Brett, Yes I had that one. Hopefully that car will "surface" someday and we can see it again.

It will be a long time and probably a court case to get that car out of a garage and from underneath that car cover. i really wish it would surface but I know it will not be an easy fight.
