4 out of 5 times system works flawlessly. but more frequently than i appreciate, i get a SES light and no full power on my 93 ZR-1. most of the EGR system has been removed as i just had SW headers put in but the car has done this since i bought it almost a year ago.

Come on at a steady state cruise?
Pulled the codes yet to see what the issue is? |

i dont know how to pull the codes. i dont have a code reader which i am assuming i would need. the SES light does not come on except occasionally (about 1 out of 5 maybe as little as 1 out of 10 times) under WOT. its very obvious when the light comes on that i do not have the secondary fuel system being activated.

Sounds like a secondary issue.
You can pull codes using a paperclip. Ground plugs A & B on the ALDL together and watch the pulses of the SES light. It will start with a 12 and then cycle through and end with a 12. |
