The C4 ZR is raw which is so fun to drive. You get the mechanical noises and a direct connection to driving. If I could I?d love to have both.

True--As I have said on the Mid engine corvette forum, the new ZR1 makes me want to invest in tire companies. These days naturally aspirated vs forced induction is less important to me than performance. The supercharged car has great low end torque available at very low rpms. A tenth or two 0-60 loss doesn't worry me these days; the C7 Z is plenty fast for me, despite the quote in my signature. But maybe I am just getting old. (see below). --Bob

I know what you mean. I had a same dilemma and bought a 22 Z51 and kept my 94Z. Love them both

I think you would miss that Z eventually.........Sure the C8 is new, faster, handles better, new tech inside and out. But slapping paddle shifters after awhile would be the dealer killer for me. I enjoy the engagement of a manual car

Plus I would miss being in a select club of people with special cars. How people freak out on the car, having never seen one in person. That I would miss......

I hear what you are saying though and understand the pull of it.......I'd LOVE a C6 Grand Sport 6M, or in my dreams, a C6 ZR-1. But then I think about how raw ( no ABS or traction control) and engaging my 91Z is, and that to me is why I will never sell.
