Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
I joined the the forum about 5 days ago when I started eying up a local ZR-1 that was forsale. Needless to say, your guys information and postings were a huge factor in my purchase decision...
Anyways onto the car....
Its a 1993 ZR-1, Polo Green, 41,000 kilometers (25,000 miles), all original, and everything works. The exterior has a few flaws here and there but nothing too major and the interior is immaculate. The gentleman that I purchased the car off of had two ZR-1's (A 1990 black on black, and the 1993), as luck would have it, he was a retired GM engineer from way back in the day so I got the full meal deal on everything.
As for myself, I live in Alberta Canada and this will be my first Corvette. I was actually looking for an all original 1993 SVT Cobra (first year of SVT) but then I came across this ZR-1 and just couldn't turn it down given the history behind this vehicle.
Anyways, here are some pictures and I look forward to learning as much as I can about this piece of history.
