Sorry it took me so long to repond to this. The company I work for is in the prototype business and we use this process to prototype a silkscreen on a part. We work with a company that does this. How it works is they take a carrier or a backer then they lay down silkscreen ink in passes for each color. This is done as a mirror image because once the backer is removed it is actually the front. Once all of the colors are layed down an adhesive is applied on top of the ink and then a backer to protect the adhesive. It is applied just like a dry transfer decal. Once you are done, you have a silkscreened part without actually silkscreening the part.

I was able to throw the windshield logos on with some other artwork for prototype parts, so I got the decals essentially for free. But if you were to do this process for a few logos, with the setup charges and films, it would be about $500.00.
