A HAH, The problem is that GM used the same RPO for different colors in different years, and different RPO's for the same color in different years.
68U was Brilliant Red Metallic in 1990 (marketed as Dark Red Metallic) and in 1993 68U was the code for Ruby Red.
In 1991 to 1995, Brilliant Red Metallic (Dark Red Metallic) was RPO 75U.
Another example is Competition Yellow. In 1990 and 1993-1995, the RPO was 53U. In 1991-1992, the RPO was 35U.
